It's not uncommon for me to wake each morning to messages that have come in overnight from another time zone. After all, as I lay my head on my pillow each evening, a new ministry day is dawning for frontline leaders in nations on the other side of the globe.

Church Planting 2.JPG

In a region where spiritual darkness makes it risky to identify as a Christian, a faithful pastor asks for prayer as he oversees a new church plant in an unreached village.

A visionary marketplace leader is captured in a photo with his mentee. The image reflects his thrill and commitment to mentor entrepreneurs in his city to conduct business in a way that brings the light of Christ to his corrupt nation.

An undercover missionary - through encrypted messaging - gives thanks that the Lord hid her from an extremist group long enough to baptize a new convert. Their faces are concealed, but their joy is unmistakable.

It's almost surreal that we get to partner with these hidden heroes every day. Empowering frontline leaders to fulfill the Great Commission is more than just a catchy organizational tag-line. It reflects an unwavering commitment to wake up each morning ready to lift the arms of our brothers and sisters who are determined to take the name of Jesus to the ends of the earth.

Together - you and me, through them - we are privileged to give the gift of the gospel.

We give because He has saved us.

We give because He has changed us.

We give because He has called us.

In Christ, we have been given so much. We have received His grace. We have tasted His goodness. We have obtained His inheritance. Jesus has become our greatest treasure, and our generous giving - this joyful worship response - overflows for His glory.

And the early morning messages keep on rolling in...

Last week brought the news of villagers celebrating their first Christmas in Pakistan. Today, I woke to a celebratory thread straight from Rwanda, where over 200 women in a rural village were gifted their very first copy of God's Word. Their heads and hands lifted high tell a story all their own, and tears fill my eyes because I know that this is just the beginning. Our strategic partnership with frontline leaders will help to disciple and empower these precious sisters in the weeks and years to come.

God receives the glory and giving never felt so good.

We can't express our gratitude enough. It is YOUR financial partnership that helps to make gifts like these possible. But there is much more work still to be done. Your generous year-end gift helps Global Advance continue to be a supply line to the front lines as we finish well in 2018 and prepare for a strong launch to our 2019 ministry year.

Today, as 2018 quickly comes to a close, we are asking you to give a generous gift to

Global Advance. Ask the Lord what He would have you to do.

Together, let's keep giving the greatest gift this world has ever known: the gift of the gospel.
