Jonathan Shibley

Jonathan Shibley serves as President of Global Advance. Since 2000, Jonathan has helped shape the organization’s growth and international impact. Jonathan founded the Marketplace Missions initiatives of Global Advance, which focus on equipping Christian entrepreneurs and business professionals around the world with vision and acumen to become catalysts for fulfilling the Great Commission. Jonathan has authored three books and is looked to as a thought leader in the marketplace and missions space. He has served on multiple ministry organization boards, including a Congressional-level faith advisory board. 

Jonathan holds a Business Degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He and his wife, Sarah, have three children.

David Shibley

David Shibley is the Founder of Global Advance. While preaching as an evangelist in Nigeria in the 1980s, God put a vision and burden in his heart to lift up the hands of pastors in developing nations. As a result, Global Advance was founded in 1990. Global Advance became a friend and advocate for indigenous church and marketplace leaders worldwide, challenging them to be catalysts for fulfilling the Great Commission. Since its inception, Global Advance has provided vision, training, tools, and encouragement for more than 874,000 leaders in 110 nations.

David has served Jesus in vocational ministry for over 55 years, has authored 23 books, and has ministered throughout America and in over 70 nations to equip kingdom leaders for the gospel’s advance. He continues to impart his vision and passion for the gospel into the next generation of Great Commission leaders through the David Shibley Institute, a Global Advance initiative.
